And he’s got friends
In every shade,
In every state
Globally
people are tired
Tired of being treated less than
For merely existing
That is the only crime
To be born into this world
Black, strong and beautiful
Still human, just a different skin tone
No one deserves to die
For just being born brown
We all just want to live
Give this life the best shot we got
We want just want a chance
To grow and evolve like humans do
You’re not better than us
I can pull the receipt in every category
We keep coming on top
Despite of having to work twice as hard
Because it has nothing to do with our skin
But the content of our character
It’s in our very essence
To have limitless potential
If jealousy and greed didn’t consume
